Hey all, just wondering if any one has used Redline shockproof trans oil in their mk3 vr6? I'm wanting to change the oil in my box and I'm thinking about using this... Let me know what you think
I haven't a VW or Skoda yet. I'm thinking about buying a Skoda Yeti.
I have however used Redline Shockproof in my05 WRX. You need to chane the stuff more regularly because it will form lumps. I dont know if the lumps cause any problems themselves but the oil level will get low because the lumps end up in all the little corners of the box. Redline oils are usually designed for motor racing applications where the oils are changed after each race. You'll know what I mean if you drain your box. It's often referred to as smurf snot because its smurf blue and lumpy.
