Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    Recommendations: Boot Struts / Paint

    Hi All,

    I've attached two photos of issues I've been wanting to take care of for a while. DIY tips preferred.

    The first is both my boot struts have snapped off at the bottom. The second is the paint flaking between the front and back doors - both sides.

    Any tips would be great. Finally have the time nowadays to do stuff like this
