Melbourne South East Body Repairs - Brighton Panel Works

I have a dent on the bonnet of my car and although it hasn't broken the paint surface I though I would get a few quotes to see if I need to claim the insurance or as I suspect, pay for it myself.

I saw someone mention Brighton Panel Works in Moorabbin, on a forum, and their website shows that they specialise in VW as well as other quality brands so I went there today.

I asked for a written quote and as I was filling out the form with my details, my wife noticed a sign saying that they charge $50 for a written quote so I asked the receptionist.

She said that they give verbal quotes and if you want it in writing you pay $50 which they will deduct from the cost of the repair when you book the car in to have the work done...how's that for sticking it to the man!!!

So I threw the form in the bin and left so if anyone can recommend other panel shops in Melbourne South East, I would appreciate it.

how bad is the damage, maybe try paintless body repair. There is a place in ringwood.

Dent couldn't be repaired as a paintless job but got it all fixed by Simon at Paintwerks in Morrabbin, highly recommended.
