  • Paint protection/ Detailing Recommendations in Sydney

    Hi Guys

    I have a new car arriving within the next 2 weeks and want to get paint protection for it.

    I know people on this forum recommend Reflect Effect (Vehicle Detailing, Paint Correction and Protection Services, Leather Car Care, Tyre Dressing and Window Tinting, Parramatta, North Shore and Sydney - Reflect Effect) but i also saw a company called Definitive Car Detailing (Car Detailing Paint Protection Sydney North Shore | Make Your Car Beautiful - 1300 739 489) has one in this forum used the latter before as it is a bit cheaper and also closer to home for me. If not any other recommendations?

    Thanks

    You have;

    Sydney Mobile Detailing - Hills District (Mitch, does a lot of the VAG)
    Reflect Effect - North Parra (Dave, as you said)
    Car Care Products - Five Dock (obvious to who they are)

    That would be my 3 choices as for paint protection brand it is much of a muchness. Lifetime does not exist, regardless what anyone markets to you.. it doesn't. Simple as that, those who argue it does do not have an understanding what the coatings actually are and how they're structured.

    If you don't maintain your car either, they are all as useless as one another. Wash for thought
    What’s behind you doesn’t matter..

          Car care at Ashfield did ours last August. We are satisfied and so far it is holding up well.

            As Fuzion says, a good wash frequently is important so that dirt and atmospheric pollutants don't affect the surface. I use Duragloss 901 car wash - 2 bucket method- with separate microfibres cloths to apply and dry.

              Can anyone recommend a paint protection place around inner city/eastern suburbs? I'm in Alexandria so somewhere close ideally.
