Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Any good car detailer in Canberra?

    Hi people, I wanna have my car detail as well as paint protection ... I was wondering is VIP car care good?

    Generally not.

    Bit of a road trip but worth it is Custom Car Care Wagga. You wont leave disappointed.

      I haven't used them, but I read their blog every now and then...

      Obsession Car Detailing

      Obviously more expensive than places in Fyshwick...but then it's Canberra...

        I've used Obsession Car Detailing twice now - once a few years ago when we first got our C63 and more recently to apply OptiCoat to my wife's new Beetle.

        Saad and Arshad are both great to deal with, know what they're doing and I've been happy with the results of the 2 details. No doubt they're expensive compared to the VIP-type detailers but in my mind the difference is I can do a VIP-type job at home myself but I can't replicate the more expensive paint correction / swirl removal type work that I had Obsession do.

        I believe pics of both my details are up on their website if you want to take a look at their work.
