Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

buying 3m Scotchgard retail in Australia?

    buying 3m Scotchgard retail in Australia?

    It's driving me nuts, but I can't seem to find any website that sells 3M Scotchgard carpet protector in Australia... or even eBay. I've even google searched vwwatercooled and not found any useful entries.

    Can anyone help? pm me if there's sensitive information Any help much appreciated !!

    Have used it and was a waste of money on a house carpet.

    Carpet still got dirty and got stains on it That according to advertising should have just wiped off but didnt.

      Thanks for the advice. I discovered they still sell it at autobarn by chance today.

      When i read the directions, no mention was made of it protecting carpet. I bought a bottle of 303 fabric and carpet water protector and see how that goes.

        They used to spray carpets with it and another brand which was equally fairly useless

        Not to say it wont do what you want but just my experience

          Appreciate the feedback. Any recommendations on carpet protection products, or do you think they are all a waste of time?
