Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

what've you done? is it not PDR-able? I'm currently training to do PDR and have got my first batch of tools arriving this week - I don't mind giving it a crack as a bit of a learning curve when I'm next in melbourne - I'm taking all the 100+ hail dents out of my roof and panels first so you can have some faith in what I'm doing haha!

haha dw the car is a heap of **** atm going to try and make it bad to former glory..

well ill post up a picture when get some time, but the **** thing is it seems to be had some repair done to that side already and i didnt know, the guy at the panel beaters said he would have to grind off the area and then re-weld the new quarter on..
that was quoted at $1500 but then another guy said $400 and all i wanted from both was for the panel the have no dents said i didnt want it painted, big difference in prices..
