Shaving rear wiper laws? NSW

Just wondering if my car will be registrable if I shave my rear wiper?for time being I have put a gromet in to hole

no problem at all. nobody will even notice.

in NSW, you don't even legally have to have reversing lights....

Shaving it will look a lot better than having the grommet. Just say it was like that from factory

Got my car through nsw rego without a rear wiper. Then again the bloke watched me scrape out the driveway haha.

ADR's only require a windscreen to have wipers/washers...

Manufacturers put the wiper on hatchbacks as their inherent aerodynamics whip up a lot of crap on the rear window
