  • cars body/wheels not even rear..

Not sure if this is the place to put it.
I thought/guessed I had a problem with the rear of the car but no its extremely obvious.
Drivers side rear is sitting on the tyre, passenger side is tucking a few mm and clearing on my test drive.

I've read about the rear beam being off centre.
But my drivers side guard was also slightly damaged down the bottom towards the front so that could be contributing...
I also know its not just the wheels as i have had more rubbing on the drivers side compared to the passenger on 3 other sets.

    so what do I do?
    I see my options as:
    a) getting the beam centred (lots of work...?)
    b) running a ~2mm spacer on the passenger side to keep it equal on all wheels I run.
    c) having the drivers side arch pulled out a few mm. mk4 rears are rolled from stock so this probably wouldn't hurt...

What do people think is the best option?

    Thanks.

I reckon it's probably easiest to roll the arch a couple mm..

It may be worth while getting a 4 wheel alignment done, to check everything is kosher there, put your mind at ease..

      probably both good ideas jarred.
dunno if they can do anything about rear toe also. I can actually stand there and see it both sides without measuring tools.
know anyone down your way with a roller and the skills to not to make my paint anyworse?

yea, I know on mk 1-3 you def get more toe the more you lower it.
Not sure if the mk 4 does this too, but wouldn't be surprised..

Skills on the other hand.. :s

Think its the case... same rear beam setup yeah? anything that can be done to adjust the toe?
sounds interesting... lol. we could have a go on the damaged part for a test run...? Paints already chipped/cracked.
