Creating a detailing kit - What products to choose?
Creating a detailing kit - What products to choose?
Hi I am wanting to create a good quality (with budget of $350) detailing kit with accessories. I have a leather interior and factory wheels on my MK4 R32.
Since no one else has jumped on this.. Check out the Car Care Products website. Their enthusiasts kit is great value. All going to depend on just how much you're looking at doing.
Sorry for the delayed reply. Bit slack what can i say!
If you want to let me know what you have, and what you are after we can work out exactly what you need/and don't need and maybe get a few extras or save you some $$.
Feel free to reply here, or call/or email (info@carcareproducts.com.au) if you like. Whatever you prefer.

I appreciate any thoughts on what to get.
Cheers
Just for others.
This 'Total Wash Essentials Kit' has been put together by us at CCP from our favourite and most commonly used products that we ourselves used on customer cars, and also on our own cars on a daily basis and found most effective and overall just really good.
It covers you for all avenues; Window Cleaning+Glass Cloth, Interior Protectant, Wash Shampoo, Drying Towel, Mitt, etc etc.
There is the alternative of the Wash Essentials which is a smaller pack.
The only thing you possibly may want is either a Sealant or Wax for your car to protect the paint. The Total Wash Essentials does have Aquawax which will protect your paint if you are washing on a weekly or fortnightly basis, however the longevity is not as good as a true Sealant or Wax of course.
For your leather, my personal pick and favourite to what i use in my own car is the Duragloss Leather Kit as it will retain the natural leather smell, leave the seats soft and supple and also a non greasy satin-matt finish which i find the best part.
