howdy all
Was at Motorex on the weekend as a good friend had a weapon of a car for show, and got talking to the 3M guys about vinyl wraps etc. Anyway, turns out that 3M globally are putting money into the courts to stamp out the use and promotion of their DiNoc film in autos. Its a household and interior product only, and its starting to get a bad wrap (pardon the pun) as its being used incorrectly.
The vinyl used in Oz by most vinyl'ers is the proper 3M stuff, but cheaper quotes might see the use of DiNoc.
For reference, the Carbon Demon boys have been listed on the 3M site as a preferred user, and the 3M guys (who know their stuff) said the Carbon Demon dudes were bloody good at what they do.
