chip in arch

I've got a small chip in the paint in the wheel guard arch on the front right of my vr, im worried about rust setting in...was wondering how i can deal with it as in if there was a way to protect it from rust before getting it fixed and re-painted at a panel beater???

Check a car paint place, generally thay can mix up a small tin of touch-up for you, that should see you through. I frust has started, you will have to put killrust on it or sand it back till it's gone, then put a sealer on it before the touch-up.
