  • Dirt Between Centre Console and Front Seats

    Hello Hello,

Would like to know, how do you guys reach and clean those super tight corners in the interior, especially in-between the front seats and centre console where in the MK5/6 it's so tight that vacuum cleaner nozzles can't reach.

Over time, this will become stuck with dirt and dust and will need to be cleaned. In my older cars, I actually have unbolted the seats, and taken them out once a year to clean the carpets where we can't reach. The GTI doesn't seem to be a good idea due to airbags, etc.

    avex,

you can use a long handled brush to move the dirt as well to suck it up.

otherwise a very 'toit' vacuum head to get in those spots to pull put what it can.

option b as well could also use a air blower (compressor) to blow it all out and remove the dust at the same time in the rest of the interior.

    hope that helps
