Literature for Bodywork/Starting a Project/Rust Repairs
Hello,
My wife bought me a book-shop voucher, so I can get myself something nice to read for at night time in bed. Fail. Due to a strong feeling, to start a MK1 project anyway, I thought why shouldn't I get a nice book about restoring cars. My Wife would love that!!!
I have some mechanical knowledge, know how a car works and enough confidence to do DIY so I am basically after something that covers areas that I am not too sure about:
-proper rust repairs
-how to weld on cars respectively what areas can I replace/where should I keep my fingers off
-how to start/organize a project
-where to start a project
-how to strip (bigger) bits and pieces respectively in which order does everything need to be striped
If you have any recommendations let me know, that would make me really happy. And my wife as well
