Bubbles on bonnet- help!

Hey guys, I have a Colorado Red Passat (B5) and recently I noticed a few bubbles on the bonnet, it looks like the clear coat has just detached itself. I have attached a few photos, I scraped one of the bubbles off so I could see what I was dealing with, but I'm not sure where to go from here. How do I stop it from spreading?
I was thinking maybe I could buy some touch up paint/clear coat and try to fill 'em up, but I'm not sure if this is a good idea?
I should probably mention that I need this done on the cheap, can't afford a full respray lol!

Sorry mate, but I don't think there is a cheap option that will last. Once clear coat is gone, it's gone

Thanks for the reply. Do you have any idea why this happens? I wax the car once a year, but it does spend all day in the sun. How would I prevent it from happening to other panels?

Same thing happened to my mate's camry, he parks it under the sun too. Thing is he never cleans off bird dropping, tree sap etc immediately and these are the things that eat through the clear coat when left for too long (the heat from the sun makes it worse too). Once the clear cost is eaten through, it'll start peeling off like a skin (not sure if it's different with newer car finishes).

See if one of those touchup guys or chips away can do anything for cheaper than re spray.

Thanks for the reply. Come to think of it, it has been quite a while since I washed it Unfortunately with uni and work I'm pretty busy so I don't really give the car much attention. I'll probably pay a visit to my panel beater tomorrow, see what he has to say. I guess in the future I'll give it a wash at least once a week and a wax at least every 3 months. So far its only been on the bonnet, I'm just scared of it happening on the other panels, which can't be replaced so easily (worst case scenario). Would more frequent waxing/polishing prevent this?

Unfortunately it could be a simple case of some acid hitting your bonnet, or even a respray before you owned the car (even pre-new delivery as it does happen). Number of things sadly to say could of caused it.

The only solution is to have a respray. An average bonnet last i heard was bout 500-850 to be resprayed.

Maybe take it to a reputable spray painter/panel beater and get a quote?

Chances are its been resprayed and the painter didn't prep the panel correctly. That is the most common cause of the issue. Or the paint systems were incompatible.
