  • Rear bumper paint scruff

Hi i recently just got some minor rear bumper scruffs on my 2010 MK6 GTI and some of the paint has come off. I was wondering what would be the best alternative to fix it? I have attached a picture to show you what it looks like:

    Current: |MY15 W205 Mercedes-Benz C250 | Polar White | AMG | COMAND | VISION |
    Previous |MY10 MKVI GTI | Candy White | 5 Door | Manual | Bi-xenons | 18' Detroits | MDI | R LEDs Tail Lights|

It is hard to see from the photo whether that is black marks on top of your paint, or all of the paint and primer have been removed and it is black plastic showing through. (You will feel the difference, or if you really cannot tell then swing by and we can take a look)

If it is black marks on top of the paint , try a clay bar and if neccessary after a light polish to remove.
If the paint is gone and you can feel black plastic, take it to the body/panel shop and get them to add the paint back! If you are not looking for a perfect finish get some 'batch matched' touch up (paint code on the door surround or bonnet) and gently touch in - at least it will be white again and not black...

Thanks for the prompt reply. The paint is gone it's black plastic showing. I was looking for a prefect finish and was wondering how much it would cost me?

Would anyone know if these guys are any good?
