Just curious what brand of drying towel do you use to dry your car? I use an Aqua touch Microfibre Giant Waffle Weave Drying Towel 60 x 90cm.

Ive been using a mint waffle weave towel from car care products, just the small one as i cheaped out a little bit. The thing is tiny though more like 20x20 then the 40x40 its meant to be... may have gone through the dryer though -.- more like 20x20 then the 40x40 its meant to be... may have gone through the dryer though -.-

An extra-large one is sounding good when i need to make another order sigpic sigpic

Waxit - Premium Car Care Products this baby from waxit is awesome had a waffle weave and tbh found this much nicer to use so the waffle weave is resigned to rims nowOriginally posted by seangtiThe price of the car rarely indicates driver ability/lap time.

Seems ok but takes quite a few wipes to keep clean. Anybody suggest anything better?Originally posted by seangtiThe price of the car rarely indicates driver ability/lap time.

i use a waffle weave, el cheapo job but i keep the edges off the paint, it lifts a lot of water, and it's microfibre.

re cham-wow, i have something similar- your now-in-every-household super absorbent cloth that is tough, extremely wringable etc....

the material they use in those is called rayon, and if you brushed a semi-wet cham-wow against your skin, you'd find that actually, it is noticably abrasive.

for that reason, it mightnt be the best solution for drying your car.

go to a supercheap and get a microfibre waffle weave [i got mine from big W - it has a check pattern and is some local aussie brand]. soft to the touch, my roof still looks like a mirror afterwards [before i wax], and lifts lots of water to boot.

A chamois is flat meaning that any small bits of grit or dirt that get trapped under it will de dragged across the paint surface, causing swirls. A Waffle Weave is made of microfibre and has pockets so any grit will become encapsulated in one of the pockets by the fibres and wont cause swirls.Originally posted by Tux View PostI've got a gaggle of chamois in the garage and have never used a drying towel.

What are the advantages over chamois?
