Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.     A good carwash?

    Hi Guys

    For the people in sydney that use carwash places, who do you recommend and where abouts is it?

    I'm lazy, I don't care lol!

    So can anyone in Sydney recommend a good place to do it?

    Looking at a good wash!

    CAR WASH CAFE
    Cnr cosgrove Rd and Hume hway Enfield (next to maccas, kfc etc)

    or

    SPOILERS Canterbury Rd opposite the hospital

        I'm willing to bet that you have to do more work to wash it at the carwash places than you do at home.

        I wouldn't use an automatic one either, because they're rubbish as they scratch lots.

        Lol...Steve if you really don't wanna do it, gimme 25 bucks and I'll handwash it and dry it properly for you

          I'm not taking it to a automated one, somewhere were I can show off my mk1 and sit down and have a latte!
          If you want to polish aswell for 25 bucks that sounds pretty good!

                        No not yet thinking of actually washing it myself, I just realised I don't know why I said Latte I hate them I like a hot chocolate

                              last time it was about $25 full wash, vacuum and wheels cleaned.. they do a great job. mercs, bmw always there
