Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Yeti window weathershields

    Hi all,
I'm in the market for a set of weathershields/ rainguards for my 2012 Yeti.
Anyone with any good leads of where they are stocked? or know of other makes/models which are compatible?
    Shawn

Tough acrylic plastic - I'd be very surprised if it breaks. By all accounts SS are pretty good folk - express to them your concern and they may box it up tougher for you.

Call me unpatriotic, but probably 70% of all goods I purchase are from overseas. I've ordered several sets of Riedel wine glasses from Target USA, had them sent to a postal forwarding company in Oregon, who also handled it and put it into another box (along with other breakables, on occasion). No problem at all. In fact only 2 times in 8ish years do I remember an item being broken - both cases it was MTB parts from Chainreaction Cycles. Both cases I sent a photo and they sent me replacements for free.

In a nutshell ... I wouldn't even hesitate for something like those deflectors.

I had some weathershields delivered from superskoda. They took ages to get here, but arrived well packed and in one piece.
