Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Central Coast Euro Skoda

    Hey guys and gals,

Have anyone bought or had dealings with Central Coast Euro Skoda? Have a mate in Erina who's interested in getting a TDI DSG Yeti 4x4.

I'd have sent him to where I bought my RS except that the salesmen there have all been laid off due to a change in structure there (North Shore)

    Cheers

I hadn't heard this. I'm thinking of a Yeti 4x2 77TSI. Friends have dealt with CC Euro and found them very good.

North Shore Skoda has moved into where Holden were so they're now with Mitsubishi in the big showroom on the road and now the Skoda showroom is a Kia and SsangYong place (really not sure about Kias and SsangYongs selling well on the North Shore but anyway...). I assume that means new staff too.

Cool! Friend did go in and is very close to buying a Blue Skoda Yeti TDI 4x4.

They moved Mitsu over to where Holden was, Skoda has moved up to where Mitsu was, (something about Holden wanting prime real estate on Pacific Highway and Northshore not wanting to move resulting in a non renewed franchise) and there's now a whole heap of huge, colourful sales banners all over the fencing. Most of the Skoda sales staff I spoke to have either been laid off, or resigned as what the company was offering was not what they were promised and expected. (Hearsay only as I don't heard from the staff I knew)

Roy's gone to Brad Garlick Ford as far as I know.
