Yeah I saw it, it definitely only just popped up, I'm guessing they have at least one at the show now. In related news they said a lot of car companies haven't shown up there at Sydney. The whole 2 yr switching was because the Sydney show was always $$$ and return was crap for it, pity Melbourne had to be dragged into it, would have been better if they rotated between Brisbane and Sydney, and Melb just did its own thing as I believe the Melb one was profitable. From being an exhibitor at the most of the exhibition centres around Oz, Darling Harbour is by far the most overpriced, and usually done on the cheap venue hands down.
Geeze Skoda had only a few numpty guys from VW in polos at the Melbourne show, looks like they did something proactive for once.....(definitely no girls about!).
Look how much room Skoda got, I think they had about 3 cars at the last one, no Skoda sign anywhere and were chucked on the side of the VW stand....at least they are doing it right.
Happy as I am with our Octy Wagon, the Yeti is the Skoda my SO would have chosen had it been available this time last year.
I had my bum in one last september in the UK and I really think that the Yeti will sell well for Skoda.
Too bad no Fabia vrs for the hot hatch brigade
