After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    What's this worth.

    Hi, I was just about to sign for an interstate superb, but after doing some research, I've found out the car is three years old, not one- which is how it's advertised.

    what should I be paying for a my12, built 3/2012, complied 2014 superb elegance 125tdi? Low kms and in very nice cosmetic condition. I've looked at red book, but I know that isn't always accurate.

    Given that you can get a demo 2015 MY15 118TSI for $29k I wouldn't want to pay much more than this for a 2012 pre-update model. You only have to look at the price of these 2nd hand to see that they're going to devalue quite quickly.

        Well there's a 125TDI Elegance sedan with 5,000km on carsales for $29,990 drive-away. Expect to pay a bit more for a wagon as these seem to be a bit more popular and were ~$2k more new as well.

        Unfortunately it's not uncommon in Skoda land to have 2-3 year old cars getting sold as a "demo".

        At the end of the day it's how much you think it's worth but I certainly would n't be paying top $. Try to keep in mind what the resale on this car is going to be like and factor this into your negotiations. The car is already 3 1/2 years old.
