Is the Superb Finished in Oz?

New sketches appeared a while back for a coupe-like larger 4 door Skoda. I assumed it would be the Superb plate going in that when it materialises?

No new stock has been imported AFAIK since the last sales push, was that six months ago? The facelift models that appeared in Europe about a year ago (I am guessing but somewhere near that time frame) have never appeared here and as far as I can see there are no 2014 plated Superbs in the country. Carsales have 73 new cars all plated 2012 or 2013, no diesels from what I can see at all.

Best ask VW Oz. If you look at the whole range now it is basically a shadow of whats available in Europe. The only stand out for the brand any more is the Octavia RS. Friend was interested in the Superb V6 4x4 wagon but there are not many around for sale.

The new Octavia went on sale in Europe in Feb 2013, we've only started getting it about a month ago in Oz, the facelifted Superb went on sale in April 2013, so give it a month or two, if not more, before we get them down here.

We got the Octavia in Feb this year. Generally we see them 12 months after the UK.

They stopped getting in Octys as well. The new Superb is coming, my guess is that the pricing and options will change ala the Octy though and we will see tech packs and the like with a new lower price for an ambition Superb. And there will be no cars for 6mths. And the tech pack can't be ordered until a certain time. And the RVC will possibly not be in it. And heated seats will disappear mysteriously...and it will be order only, no floor stock.

When at the dealer a couple of weeks ago the salesman said the face-lift Superb is being launched sometime in June. Also indicated a new starting price of around 28k. Apparently some customer preorders of the facelift have already arrived but can't be delivered until the press launch.

I'm about to put my fully specced Superb V6 Wagon on the market this weekend if your friend (or anyone else here) is still interested. It's end of Lease time. Should be on carsales on Saturday.

Will be sad to see it go actually. Best car I've ever owned.
