Skoda Australia - Panel Shop waited nearly 26 days for parts delivery from Skoda Aust
That URL to the owners manuel is very cool. Much easier to read on my computer rather than book itself. OK, my vehicle came with Passat CC style alloys so I'm assuming I don't need any of those wheel nut cover pulling tools. And how right you are with the Jack...it sort of does a balancing trick when the car is raised. Page 53 of the manuel mentions about the allen key which is used to close the sun roof during an emergency or when battery is flat. It's used to manually wind the motor back and is poked into a hole where the sunglass holder is. (Not that my sunglasses would ever fit there)
Cheers and thanks

Tool kits today are becoming a bit of a joke really. I guess there isn't much a driver can actually do to their car except change a tyre (if you have a spare). When on a long trip away from home I take my motorcycle tyre repair kit just in case I puncture a tyre AND the spare. This actually happened on a previous Audi when I ruined 2x Michelin Pilots on a stretch of fast dirt road in South Australia. My new BMW bike came with a double ended screwdriver and that was it!! Sum total of tool kit. For an extra $230 I purchased the optional "mechanic's tool kit" which is probably capable of completely disassembling the bike.
