Changes MY18 MY18.5 MY19 Superb

Hi all,

I'm looking at getting a Superb.

I've been looking about and trying to find what's different between MY18, MY18.5 and MY19, but not really succeeding.

I'm mainly interested in the 206 Sportline, but if people have the info, it would be worth sharing it for all variants.

There seems to have been a bit of restructuring of the line-up, especially the Sportline, in MY18.

MY18.5 seems to have added the wireless Qi charger, and added a couple of colours. But the Qi seems to have come and gone from specs since the car was first available.

MY19 has the availability of the Virtual Cockpit, though some advertised MY18.5 seems to have it too.

Anyone got a full list?

I have an MY19 Superb, basically the virtual cockpit and Supernova wheel options were added which weren’t available on earlier models.

Changes introduced with MY19:-
- ambient lighting with driving mode selection
- digital instrument display. Sportline models will get additional overlay with Carbon effect skin
- multifunction steering wheel now with "View" button. Replaces Phone button
- Google Earth no longer available
- modification to ice scrapper
- 19" Supernova available as an option exclusively on Sportline model

Oh, and they also made changes to the KESSY from MY19.....

- KESSY-key motion sensor
Key without movement does not transmit signal for a certain period of time - protection against thefts.
The wireless remote control will be equipped with a position sensor.
