Centre muffler out, can confirm its straight though with a chamber in the middle
Went an 18" stainless wrapped resonator as recommend but is still very quiet - slight blip can be heard in the car but not as much noise as I was hoping [emoji849]
Need to hear what it sounds like with someone else driving from the outside

Which brand reso did you end up using?
No drone when you lug the engine?
The sound usually gets deeper as it bed-in and the DSG blip seems to get louder over time. Cold start will sound different.
The hi-flow cat and down-pipe should fix the quietness

Note is a little deeper in the car but definitely no drone so far, at cruise around 1500-2k it's still very much like stock sound levels inside with windows up
Will get the Downpipe done after its been to Skoda in about 6-8 weeks

I know that Cat back does not affect warranty at all, changing emissions systems parts can potentially affect warranty in a power train failure
However it is a part that is not to hard to change over at home and my car while modified will still be very well looked after with 7500k oil changes etc

I have done an exhaust on almost every car I've owned and never had a problem, very rare to see a failure these days and it is usually a first up failure in the first few thousand k's or from lack of maintenance / stupid or poor modifications....
