    Hi Guys,

I finally took delivery of my MY16 Style TDI last Friday with the 19in wheels. It's a fantastic car and I'm loving it, but I do have a couple of minor questions that I've not been able to find the answer to. Firstly, is it possible to have the power socket in the centre console turn off with ignition? I run a traffic cam from it and it's a pain to have to try to remember to unplug it.

Secondly, since the Style isn't normally available with the 19in Xtreme wheels I don't know the recommended tyre pressures since the fuel filler placard only has up to the 18 in. Can someone please let me know the recommended pressures?

    Thanks,
    Karl

Hey Karl, I'd call the dealer about the tyre pressures.

I doubt the cig lighter can be turned on and off with the ignition. I would personally have it hard wired in, if it's a major issue. Or see if the boot socket is switched?

Boot socket is permanently switched on too. I left my fridge plugged in overnight and the car still started. If you re that worried you could wire in a low voltage cut out switch.

Tyre pressures are 36-38 PSI in case anyone else interested.

I pretty much could have guessed that, I keep all my cars around the 36 mark.

            DAB+?

Does anyone know of any option to get DAB+ on the Octavia with Tech Pack? The overseas manual for Columbus says it has DAB built in...

            Cheers,

Unfortunately ours doesn't not sure why, maybe the band is different? No other reason I can tell really.

OK, this is a weird one, my wife has a 2014 mk7 Golf TDI and along the top of the screen for the entertainment unit it always shows the name of the road she's on. I'm pretty sure that my Octavia did this the day I picked it up, but I haven't seen it since and I can't find a setting. Is this something you lose having the tech and comfort packs with different driving modes? The street name usually goes where I have the current driving mode (Normal, Sport etc).

                Cheers,
