Skoda Macarthur, based in Narellan south west Sydney, and part of the large Peter Warren group, are closing. I bought my car there in January this year. Very ordinary dealership and perhaps this is why they are closing.

How long did they last? 3 years?
I called in there once to buy parts. Tootled by the showroom to look at the Skodas & was ignored. Wandered back past their Hyundai showroom & had to beat the sales staff off with a stick.
Access is a bit tricky isn't it?carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic
I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums

The staff make the dealership ... But after hearing what some of them go through (dealing with non-car oriented customers) you sometimes can't help but feel for them ...
I now try to give all dealership staff a fair go - in the service department anyway. Some of them are human after all lolRS

I spoke to the sales guy looking after me at the Warwick Farm Skoda and it's all being consolidated into the Warwick Farm dealership. So they will have a bigger territory to look after now, obviously for me nothing to be concerned about.
Had a good chat with him, i've been reasonably happy with the service at warwick farm certainly no complaints anyway. He expects i should have a VIN available in a week or two which will be great.Vehicle: Octavia Ambition + Brilliant Silver Wagon, Tech Pack, Auto boot

We should have a combined "Hello / Goodbye Dealer" thread.
The other thread has the dealer closing in Perth.
A mate was telling me they no longer sell Skoda in Darwin (maybe he's wrong as there appears to be a Barramundi Skoda).

Reynella Skoda in Adelaide closed down about 18 months ago... They told me at the time the only reason they opened in the first place was because it was a condition of getting the Volkswagen dealership.
