Why is the car sold with a physical button on the head unit that does nothing? Like VW having a voice control button on the steering wheel of my mk6 GTI that did nothing but mute the stereo. 3 years later they announce a software update that enables voice control for the bargain price of $400. I'm glad they are ready to consume some bulk karma in this diesel debacle...

Just turned on traffic info on a my16 RS (not mine) and it didn't work at first, then after some fiddling worked out I had to have the radio data turned off then add the code to the fee based traffic notifications (with a soft reset of the system) then turned on the radio data and it all worked, very happy customer.

Every capital city has the data transmitted, so it will work in Perth.
