  • Yet another Skoda dealership to close in WA

Just spoke to a VAG customer officer regarding a resolved warranty issue and she let it slip that DVG Melville Skoda will be closing sometime in the foreseeable future. That leaves Barbagallo Skoda in Osborne Park and Mandurah (70km from CBD) - even more woeful dealer and service network. I'm hoping there will be replacement by another dealer franchise but I doubt it.

Noticed a new one in Melb on the weekend. Eastern Mitsubishi (? If that's their current name) in Nunawading have a showroom and cars. They are probably part of the Southern Mitsubishi group (Can't be bothered looking it up) which hold the Brighton Skoda franchise.
    Mine: Octavia vRS Combi (MY15) | Brilliant Silver | 6MT | 162Kw 350Nm | Tech Pack* | 18" Black Pack | Leather | Sky Port | Ordered Aug 14 | Built Wk 48 2014 | Landed 3/2/2015 | Delivered 20/2/2015
    Hers: MY06 MkV Golf TDI 6DSG | Silver | Stock | RNS510 + Badge RVC Installed.
    Weekender/Project:
    Classic Mini 1972

Not good. I got my car from Melville for a $3k better changeover than Barbagallos Osborne Park were willing to do.

Oh bugger, I've been really hoping pen fold would nab a dealership east. They always said they would.
