If it has normal cruise and you don't mind it otherwise I wouldn't be too worried. ACC isn't that great. In some circumstances normal cruise is better.

You might have to ring a few dealers & see what their stock situation is - there's a few boats on the water at the moment so maybe they are on them.carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic

It's an unfortunate thing that some models there's massive waiting times and then on the other hand there's stock that sits around for 3 years

I've had to twice postpone a test drive in a Scout here in Geneva. Now booked for 30 April. I really want to see what the diesel model is like, having never owned a diesel.MY15 Octavia Scout TDI135 Moon White Tech Pack Panoramic Sunroof Polar wheels

Drove both recent.. Both excellent, Superb was dearer and the lack of reversing camera was the deal breaker, though it did have electric seats and adaptive cruise control. Went for the premium scout diesel with tech pack and tow bar. Very happy with the decision..

In the light of a new MQB based Tiguan coming out later this year? in Europe and Aus next year I have started looking at offloading the wife's Tiguan before the new model arrives. Essentially wanted to stick to a VAG product and have narrowed it down to the Scout 135TDI which as Tigger has said, sounds like a fine machine and based on the Skoda brochure it is only .2 sec slower than my F30 320d 0-100kmph and 12kms slower at top end which I think is amazing since it is AWD and has some off road capability.
Value for money I think it is very good and my only disappointment is like the Yeti, Skoda have elected not to use the 7 spd DQ 500 DSG box used in the current Tiguan and Q3 and have stuck with the tried and trusted 6 spd DSG used in previous generations of Skoda's and VW's.
Unfortunately there is no Skoda dealer in town and my nearest one is in 340kms away in Townsville just down the road from my BMW dealer so I hope to take one for a test drive the next time I take my car for a service. I also understand VW are looking at releasing an AWD Golf Alltrack SW later this year but only a petrol version only. I shall wait and see what this looks like before I make my final decision.

It's seriously the only thing to make me question getting a Scout! I know, I know... first world problems and all of that!MY15 Octavia Scout TDI135 Moon White Tech Pack Panoramic Sunroof Polar wheels

Knowing this is possible certainly improves the outlook for the Scout. What would this sort of modification do to the warranty?MY15 Octavia Scout TDI135 Moon White Tech Pack Panoramic Sunroof Polar wheels
