Hey sorry, i've come into this late and haven't even been given an estimated delivery date yet but i couldn't see anyone mention it but if your group buy is over $1000 then you need to factor in duty. Probably still cheaper than buying here but just something to consider.

Good point but you can get around it by invoice splitting.

The e.go web site was great and the courier company is universal express. I live close to the depot, so it was no hassle to drop off the guards. Much cheaper and easier than going to the post office!

I used them to ship some wheels interstate. No dramas and a good rate. A division of Hunter Transport (Or at least they use their depots), one of the interstate freight trucking companies. All via web interface.

How much do these roughly work out to be landed in AUD each before split up and shipped interstate?

also I assume it's to late to jump on the latest order?

FWIW the price I was given on the genuine Skoda one (aluminum for Mk3 wagon) was ~$104. I know they don't come down over the edge like the Rearguards ones but if you've got a Mk3 this is a good option.

I didn't participate in this as I didn't own a Skoda prior to last Thursday. But I like the idea of some extra protection so I emailed the company - GBP75 for shipping! Maybe I love my Skoda too much, but even at that price I'm still tempted ...
