Hey all,

Is there anywhere else people are getting there skoda accessories from besides supa skoda? Their shipping is quite costly for some items.

On another note is anyone in Victoria interested in splitting shipping costs on items from supa skoda? Looking at buying a few items.

I ordered some the hood dampers for my missus Octavia 3 and they sent me a message saying the order was cancelled as they can't send via airmail. So if anyone can assist with knowing where to turn to get the gas struts for the bonnet, it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks mate, but it was Superskoda who cancelled the order. I think it's because the struts are gas filled and probably not allowable to be shipped via air for safety reasons so I would be wasting my time overseas. I was wondering if anyone has been able to place an order locally (Australia) at a reasonable price for a similar product. I just got quoted $350 for two struts from a local supplier (needless to say I didn't take them up on that offer!).

I called the local VW Skoda parts and service and was quoted $209 for the tail gate edge guard for my RS wagon. Even the guy on the phone said that price was ridiculous. So I had a look at Skodadop and ordered the same part number for $60 plus the front and rear mud guards (they were that cheap I thought I'd just see how they look for myself) and the total price with shipping was about $115 Aus.
Just hope they turn up!

Thanks for the tip Venom, I'm in the market for some front DTM splitter and rear diffuser. Unfortunately superskoda does not sell the rear diffuser. Would you or other forumers know of any other skoda accessories distributor that ships to Australia?

Nah, I sent them a direct message and asked for a shipping quote on the RS splitter, 300 Euro!
