Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    I MUST SAY, THE SERVICE AND PRICE AT BATTERY WORLD PHILLIP ACT WAS OUTSTANDING. ANY SKODA OWNER WHO NEEDS A NEW BATTERY I WOULD SUGGEST BATTERY WORLD IN PHILLIP 6282 9884

    Just got my new battery there after investigating most battery places in Canberra including Battery Factory.... Great job Battery World!!

    Can I ask what brand of battery, or is it their own brand?
    My Golf came with a Bosch battery that lasted 6 yrs with no special treatment. The replacement didn't have the same kick to it. Useful lesson for me there.

    Thanks for sharing your experience, always good to know in a city that can have a bit of a monopoly in certain areas[emoji6].

      Century DIN 65 LH from memory.. you can also have the Yuasa.... sorry for the slow reply, didnt see your question for some reason.. this was in the Octavia section rather then where i started it in the Superb section... or so i thought...
