    Yep I actually permanently hurt my back from our Octy. Moved to the Santa Fe and issues since. That big boot is great but you have to be careful. I've overstretched ligaments from ours that didn't happen with our 6.

      Manual Octy vRS TDI... Then tune it to c. 435Nm. Problem solved!
      2012 Octavia vRS TDI. Darkside big turbo, 3bar tune, other stuff. 200kW/650Nm.
      1990 Mk1 Cabrio. 1.9 IDI w/ 18PSI.
      1985 Mazda T3500 adventuremobile. 1973 Superbug. 1972 Volvo 144 in poo-brown.

        We bought a 2010 manual wagon with BKD motor.

        now who can tell me where to go/who to speak to about getting more power and torque with minimal mechanical changes???? I'm talking tune and maybe boost and egt gauges (which i have on hand).

          Custom Code are in MEL. Just get a stage 1. You don't need boost gauges & EGT sensors.

          Plenty of other options if you have a browse of the performance sub-forum. Budget on $700-$1000.

                  Funny I found this thread!
                  Ready to buy 103 TSI ambition plus sedan with tech pack 6sp manual when my neighbour put his Alpha 159 1750 ^MT on the market for the same price.
                  Drove it yesterday sexy car with oomph and great handling but the rear seat room is terrible.
                  Same price I get well optioned car with 5yr warranty.
