This is very interesting - I wasn't aware of the 350Nm rating. Mine is (6-Speed) DSG, so if that's their max rating then I probably wouldn't risk a tune based on one persons report of no issues.

I'd better not take you up on the offer of checking it out, as I may find I like the manual too much!

It's an engineering rating, not an absolute. There are plenty of TDI DSG6s out there with remaps that are running 450-500nm without issue.

Try Port Hacking Automotive (several solutions), DNA Tuning and Custom code as well. Don't worry if they aren't in Sydney as there are work-arounds for the distance issue.

Oettinger is among the more expensive vendors because of their warranty, R&D programme & reputation. These items may/may not be important to you.
