Centre console storage bin

Can anyone tell me whether the centre console storage bin has a carpet/felt/other fuzzy stuff mat sitting in the bottom?

I had the slider thingy (a "jalousette" according to the invoice) around the handbrake lever replaced today while I had my car in for its 45k service. When I went to put my wallet into the storage bin this arvo, it seemed like something was missing, but as the the bin usually has old receipts, pens and other assorted crap sitting in it, I couldn't recall if there was a mat in the bottom of it or not.

Car is a MY11 vRS.

Mine has a small grey liner in the bottom (removable). I would say it fell out whilst being serviced/fixed. Check with the service department, it may still be lying on the work-bench or in the rubbish bin..

Yeah there is a removable thing there, check its not in the car somewhere.

yeah...a rubbery plasticy thingy at the bottom that is removable.

Thanks fellas. I thought there was something there, just wanted to make sure before hunting for something that didn't exist! I'll check inside the car, hopefully it's fallen out in there somewhere.
