That's cool. I wanted to add the chrome trim onto the lower section of the bumper and lip of the boot lid, but they are way too expensive from Briskoda
Really? I thought they were reasonably priced. I think the door sills make it look and feel a bit more special. First mod though, is the chrome key fob from VW for that quality "feel". About $18 per key and makes it look and feel like a high end key.
I may change some of the bling for a set of eibach springs after seeing antiplastix elagance wagon.....looks quite high!
But first thing im doing is wrap the roof and mirrors, and will see how it looks and if I want a bit more, plastidip the wheels to make them match the scheme a bit more. Then sills, boot LED and bumper protector. Then have a look at the other LEDS. So I kind of have stages planned for the car. Intend on keeping it a long time, so plasti-dipping the rims straight up will be a good way of keeping them immaculate, so if I get bored, rip it off and hey presto, new rims.

Milotek have a bad reputation with regard to quality and fitting
SupaSkoda shipping is expensive but it's express, get's here fast
Don't waste your time with eBay LED's
They say cambus and no errors but they suck big time
The SupaSkoda interior LED's are absolutely wonderful
This photo does not do them justice, it's bright as hell in real life
Here are some carbon wrapping examples (yes - I really like carbon wrap)
Roof Rack
Exterior door trim
Dash (I didn't like the brushed alloy look)
Carbon wrapped key ring
And some (more expensive) carbon under the bonnet
2012.1 Skoda Octavia VRS DSG Wagon - Carbonio cold air intake and pipe - HPA Motorsports BBK 355mm rotors 6 pot calipers
APR Stage II ECU - APR 3" exhaust down pipe & high flow catalyst
APR/HP Roll bars - Eibach springs and Bilstien shocks
Supaloy lower control arms - Enkei 18*8 Wheels
Very nice! I would like to do chromed roof rack, chromed window frame, chromed boot lip and chrome trim on front lower bumper lol.
For the inside, wouldn't mind a brushed metal surround for the touch screen instead of the stock gloss plastic. And may be mood LEDs in the doors and foot wells to come on when I switch the engine off and key pulled out from ignition.
An ambition plus wagon. I want all the LEDs done (boot, interior etc) door sills, seat handle insert, door protectors, load guard/bumper protector, getting the roof, mirrors, door guards all vinyl wrapped and plastic dipping the wheels. So all cosmetic upgrades ha ha.
I'm interested in some of the upgrades you have mentioned. Look forward to images and videos of your work.

That looks stunning mate, where/how did you get around the carbon wrapping especially the roof racks, interior dash and door trims. Thanks in advance.

Thanks - I did it all myself
You make few stuff ups at first, but you learn and press on
I was getting pretty good by the time I did the roof racks, got them right first time
Just make sure you get the 3M 1080 film
(I've heard some stories about Chinese film not pealing off well and not lasting well)
I do use the cheap Chinese carbon wrap - for my car numbers at track days - like tomorrow!
They look great, peal them off at the end of the day, all done

I think this company may be a good alternative to the LEDs from Superskoda... May pay them a visit when I get my car in August and will let you know how I go.
If I could get somewhere local that provides a quality OEM direct replacement for the same/less cost then i'm happy to support local. I am sceptical though - we generally get royally ripped off in australia (generally by the wholesalers/importers setting a very high price).
But look forward to finding out!

How does one know if their bulbs will fit the Octavia and provide no errors? I see they have Audi number plate bulbs, but all the rest of their bulbs appear to be generic with it up to the purchaser to ensure that the bulbs will fit their vehicle.
The number plate bulbs are $53!!!! It's way cheaper to go through Superskoda!!! $13 Euro = AUD$19 including free shipping!!!
I do have to say though, I've never understood why you would want to make your number plate so bright that it could be seen from the moon? What's the point?
