Tow Bar Octavia

Hi, I have had no luck with Skoda Aust. usual push off, tried to find Iron Bull in Brisbane - NBG, have tried Hayman Reesee, NBG, its down to Skoda to pull there finger out. My understanding is that of this date nobodies been appointed to manufacture including Best Bars who are a VW authorised manufacturer, apparently Skoda want to go it alone.
So any other help would be appreciated

It makes no sense that they would fit and advertise the Towbar Prep kit as standard then have no towbar to go with it. Over in the UK there are about 5 different bars to choose from, however i'm not sure how they would go with meeting ADR's, OZ always has to be slightly different. I.E. it is illegal to have electric brakes in Europe.

Best detachable Invisible Euro towbars here. OEM dedicated ekit provided. Problem is they only supply so DIY or ask your local garage.

Make sure whatever you get has the OZ compliand stickers and labels. Many are technically compliant but unless the relevant stickers are fitted to your car the bar is deemed non-compliant.

Euro tow bars do NOT sell ADR compliant tow bars. I found out the hard way, had an accident and the person I was in contact with lost interest in me pretty quickly at jku.com.au - who also don't sell ADR compliant bars.

Lucky, insurance covered the cost of an H&R bar which was(is) perfectly fine to tow my race car around.

Anyone had one fitted recently? Looking for both our mk3 octavia and our alfa 159. Be nice if it was a euro place that could do it, and go for a deal.

Only want to tow a box trailer or jetski, and have bike racks on (for MTB). Towing likely with the alfa rather than the octavia due to the higher rating the alfa has (and the fact its 400kg heavier with a big engine would me a better tow car)
