Commission information, from the "Dealer Orders New" screen (NADIN ?)
In my case the details were:
Comm: (6 digit number that identifies this particular order, and also signifies the car has been entered into the VW system as a firm order),
Model: 1Z55R5 = Octavia Combi 2.0TFSI
Paint: F2F2 = Sprint Yellow (8X8X = Race Blue Metallic)
IT: VE = RS Interior
PR-Codes: PK7 = Xenon package including level adj and headlight washers
Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). The VIN is allocated once they schedule a car for being built ( ie before they actually start building it).
I have managed to decode most of my VIN. Note that this particular decode will only work for a 2008 Octavia, as different positions may mean different things for other years/models. As best as I can tell the various positions mean:
Pos Data Meaning
1 T Region: Europe
1-2 TM Country: Czech Republic
2-3 MB Manufacturer: Skoda
4 U Series: Octavia II Combi (wagon) RS ?
5 F Engine: 2.0 TFSI 147Kw (possibly engine code BWA ?)
6 6 Restraint system: (Side air bags, side front curtain air bags)
7 1 Model ? : ?
8 Z ? : ?
9 3 Check digit: (valid in my case)
10 8 Year of manufacture: 2008
11 2 Assembly Plant: Mlada Boleslav
12-17 xx Serial Number: 6 digit number
