Topaz Brown. This colour can look great in the right light. Saw an elegance hatch in this colour recently.

      No thanks.

It's like the Lincoln Town Car or Crown Victoria of Octavias.

Granted it isn't for everyone but that color is appearing more often on Audi and Mercedes cars. Audi's teak brown looks great on an A5 for example. Most people play it so safe with whites. greys and silvers. Resale and all that, I personally would opt for metal grey on the new RS but it is a safe choice. Audi sepang blue or Renault liquid yellow would be nice to have

Don't get me wrong, I like the colour. Autumn Brown was my pick when wifey was looking at Passats.

Metal Grey or the Metalic White are my picks for the RS.

I've owned Orange, Yellow, a few reds / burgundies, Dark Greens and metalic browns. Unfortunately you don't get much of a choice of colour when buying 2nd hand so have had far too many silver & beige cars - never again!

Lauren & Klement folk tend to wear tweed coats with leather patches on the elbow & like to complain about "the youth of today". That's why I don't want.

I'm not too keen on the brown exterior, but the biggest news for me with the new Octy L&K is an Octy-specific drivetrain, the 135kW 2.0TDI 4x4 DSG. Fingers crossed this drivetrain is transferred over to the RS.

              I'd have an L&K!! And i'm 25 years young!

Leather, delicious interior colours...... and some extras...

You had me worried there comparing the Octavia to a land yacht. I would like to think it's more of a toned down version of what would happen if Mansory or Carlsson got hold of it. Ford in Europe will do a similar faux luxo thing in the next 12 months when they launch Vignale editions of their range.

Thats exactly why I would consider one.
Drivetrain will never come to the vRS, though.. But one can make a vRS L&K pretty easily
