Skoda iPhone App

Just noticed mention of a Skoda Service App on the Skoda Australia Facebook page and thought I might share:

Just had quick look, seems ok. It even has iPhone-friendly versions of the car manual.

just downloaded for iPhone4, iOS6. looks the goods!

It has been around for maybe 18mths, I find it can't bring up certain models so well, my late 2008 RS isn't in there properly so I think its set for Euro use more than us.

I installed the Android version, and also the iPad. Paydirt immediately. Found out how to remove the centre rear headrest and fold the rear seats flat in my Octavia. Then discovered the same info in the paper manual, just not as easy to browse it - Doh!

I scanned my VIN into the app and it came back with my car being "Octavia Tour II". What the hell is that? Also can't find anything in the app showing my warranty details?

BTW I have a vRS Wagon TSI manual.

Just entered the same VIN into this website and it came back with "Model name: 1Z Skoda Octavia 2 (Tour 2)" but it also included "Equipment level and body type: U RS, RS, Combi"
