Does anyone have a 162tsi built in the first week of october (03 Oct 14) that came with a reverse camera? And or folding side mirrors?

Won't have electric folding side mirrors. But should have reverse camera

Lol. I still can't believe it's only 3 sleeps to go! Feel like I've forgotten to do something important in preparation for the car aside from insurance...

Dealer emasculation tool if they get it wrong AGAIN - check

Just joking, she'll be right I'm sure.

Always difficult in the thrill of the moment but give it a good once over for specification, scratches etc. and a test drive to make sure the ride is normal or not if they failed to take the transport suspension chocks out.

For October build, I think you should be looking at the March 2014 brochure. The reverse camera for October builds came as a bonus for some people, whereas I had to pay extra when I ordered mine back in mid-sept.

Folding mirrors, I don't think it's ever part of the standard spec for the RS, you would need to option the Comfort pack, which wasn't even an option in Australia until mid-October.

The only vehicle that they were standard on was the Elegance (mine built Oct 14; arr Jan 15) .... With the rear camera as standard also, even though the camera wasn't supposed to happen until week 46 build.

Another thing for the checklist prior to collecting the vehicle; remember to have playlist of your favourite driving songs for when you are taking the long way home from the dealership.

I already have mine ready on an SD card but alas to my knowledge the car is still in Belgium awaiting its ride to Fremantle.

I can't claim these words as my own, they were penned by YaoixAddiction, but they summarise how I feel waiting for my RS. The wait is so long I am now turning to poetry to soothe my aching need.

That would be me. I got a tech pack with mine. Has camera. Mirrors fold.

My sept build ambition+ with tech pack has a camera, even though it wasn't an option when I ordered at the start of may. No folding mirrors though!
