I think it may be a good idea to get one before my baby is born, I can imagine what will happen when putting the pram in and out of the car. Just not sold on how it looks in the photos, I know there is a stainless steel version as well but I think it may look too industrial and better suited to SUV or tradie work vehicle.

Oh, colour of car is candy white if that helps.

    Thoughts?

I've got prams going in and out of my platin grey octavia all the time. In 1.5 years I've got 2 noticeable (only to me because i'm a detail freak) scratches in the clearcoat on the top of the bumper that I can probably buff out. and that's only when the car is absolutely clean.

I would say it's not a big deal if you're really careful. It does look kinda cool though, I think the black will match the white well.

Congrats on the new addition to the family btw!

I agree they dont go down over the lower edge that is above the sensors, so I'm going to put 3m scotchguard all over the bumper AS WELL like in a previous post. Currently I just have some carbon vinyl on there which does the trick and looks good all the same, but Im a mountain biker and if my previous crewman ute is anything to go by im going to need heaps of scratch protection everywhere on the back of the car

I like the idea of the attached flip out towell too
Make sure you cut the 3M sheet so that it doesnt cover the parking sensors or they wont work properly

I got the one in the OP from SuperSkoda when I got some other stuff (4x4 logo door sills too which are good). While it does protect the sill, the boot lid hits it and has scuffed a line across it (I'm pretty sure I applied it in the right place). It's held on by 10-12mm wide double sided tape which has let go a bit at the ends. Maybe I didn't clean off the bumper quite enough. It's also has a very shiny finish which looks a bit naf. A bit like tryes if you put shiny tyre protector on them.
