  • Warranty Paperwork/Service Record

Recently got some work done on my Octavia under warranty. The dealer said there was no paperwork or service record given to owners for any work done under warranty but the job done appears on the skoda/dealer internal network. Is this 'regular'? Cheers in advance for your replies.

    Yes.

But you can request a copy of it if you like.

I had the same problem with Denlo several years ago.
Even after I asked, the answer was no.
Like you, I like to keep a record.
Maybe post them a piece of A4.

They should still give you a invoice with a nil coston that explains the work carried out....all dealers are different, but that's what I see...VDUB...

Agreed. I have had two warranty items done and in both cases I got the standard worksheet with "nil" cost.
