I have just noticed that there appears to be very little chrome either, just the badges.

That's great for me, I can save a small fortune on plasti dip.

Had my DSG serviced / recalibrated today big bucks... and got a quote on resale... Not a great figure.... Almost halved in 3 years!

I m liking the white wagon, but why cant I have it in "all wheel drive". That's my only complaint about my current vRS.

Fine looking car. Love the swage and line up to the tailgate on the wagon. Mind you, I'm becoming rather fond of the funky little Fabia vRS Combi I've got sitting downstairs too.

You'd be lucky to find a car doesn't halve its value in 3 years. Get an extended warranty and your right for 5 years. I'm definitely looking at the new Octavia to replace my 2 1/2 yr old Scout.

Yeah, Tell me bout it man! I've been lookin...Not much out there!

I had extended dealer warranty, then the dealer closed Down so not sure what happens to the extra 2 years.

I might check out the new C45 amg when it arrives... Claim it against my business and put a BIG bubble on it, fingers crossed I can afford it, my accountant reckons its a smarter option, my missus thinks I'm a hoon!

If not, I'll get A mk3 octy for sure! The more I look at it the more I want one... I wonder what the 19" black race wheels look like? They are mentioned on the netcarshow app.

The vRS in the pics. is the "GTI" version of the Octavia, has the same motor running gear as the Golf GTI. Although I believe there will be 2 versions of the Mk VII GTI.

Yup, the new vRS is power capped - the GTi has an additional 7kW......similar to what it is now - 147 vs 155.
One has tune A, the other tune B.
