  • Varex Muffler

Firstly, does anyone know if this will fit a 2012 TSI RS easily enough?

XForce. Performance Mufflers, Exhaust Systems & Accessories. About the Varexâ„¢ remote controlled Sports muffler.

Secondly, has anyone heard anything good, bad or indifferent about them? I love the concept of quiet for the long highway drives etc and then loud when ya wanna give her some boot around town.

Mightycarmods features these mufflers a lot so maybe worthwhile checking them out on their YouTube channel. As to if they fit, no idea but they got one onto a mk5 polo gti so it should fit on the vRS I believe.

Hmmm, I'm worried about how much they cost versus benefit
I certainly think they can be fitted to the Octavia
The MightlyCarMods team only quickly detailed the sound benefit

Yeah definitely, I believe they're in the 400-500 mark. I've heard of people buying it from the states for cheaper however they term it differently... something like "butterfly" valve... can't remember the correct term....

So can the engine management system deal with the dynamic change in resistance so you don't end up with power loss?
