I know cause when I ordered (back in 2010) it was an optional extra, however closer to build date, I found out it was made std because mine was going to b a my11 build.
So the salesman dropped my driveway price further.

HI All,

I just picked up my VRS last Friday- WOW. I love this car. I had a Subaru Liberty (Schmick version) but this blows it away in nearly every regard, even considering that one was 4 years older. All I have to do is wrap the chrome grille surround, not a fan of that! I just have a question regarding the HDD for the Octavia. I keep reading references to it, but does a VRS have one installed already, or have people bought this aftermarket? If it comes with, how do I load stuff onto it?

Check your maps version, you may only have V4, mine came with V5, and V6 is already out (and now on mine...)

The custom firmwares can give you more mp3 room if you find you run out. And there are posts around to swap to a SSD HDD as well, if you really like tinkering with electronics.

The usermnaual talks about AAC support, but dont believe it. It must be mp3.
