I sold my 2008 RS raceblue sedan to my parents and replaced it with a 2016 MY16 raceblue wagon, with 18" blackpack, tech pack, auto tailgate and sunroof back in late April. Missed out on every single offer, so had to pay for the extended warranty myself and they wouldn't budge on giving me the 1% either. Which means the plan to get a Kodiaq in 3 yrs will be delayed....

Picked up my new MY16 Octavia RS 162TSI Wagon, FWD, DSG, Race Blue Metallic, Tech Pack, Comfort Pack, panoramic sunroof, electric tailgate, 18" black pack, no-mods last Tuesday.



Absolutely LOVING this car! Excellent roadholding, excellent performance, improving fuel-economy, ridiculously comfortable, modern safety features are outstanding and make driving quite boring and lazy to be honest - which is a double-edged sword for a driving enthusiast.

Recently purchased a 2010 vRS 2.0 147kw DSG wagon in Silver from a dealer in Melb & drove it back to Adelaide. Originally a VW Australia car with one private owner. Standard spec at this stage, really enjoying the driving & loads of space. Was almost like putting on a pair of old shoes as quite a few familiar interior switches / fittings to our old Audi B5 A4 Quattro Turbo which the family outgrew!
