Much as I like the look and specs of the RS, Skoda has confirmed that you can't fit snow chains. Better to know before you buy. The 16" wheels are apparently OK for chains. Accordingly I drove a 1.8 TFSI which went very well. Only drawback is that you have to hold back on options if you don't want to get to RS prices.
